With one month left until the primary election, ballots have already been mailed out across the state and California Donor Table and Voices for Progress’ endorsed candidates continue to make their case to the voters.
CDT partner California Environmental Justice Alliance (CEJA) Action released their 2020 primary voter guide, including their endorsements of Abigail Medina for SD23 and DeniAntionette Mazingo for AD42. CEJA Action was a key partner in CDT and V4P’s early endorsements of Abigail and Deni in August. They also endorsed Assemblymember Eloise Gomez Reyes in AD47, Assemblymember Shirley Weber in AD79 and Lorena Gonzalez in AD80, CDT-endorsed incumbents.
California’s population nears the 40 million mark, but growth is slowing due to net outmigration to other states. Two of CDT’s priority regions -- the Central Valley and Inland Empire -- saw some of the greatest population growth in the last year.
The California Donor Table is a community of donors who pool and align investments in leaders, groups and systems that make lasting progressive political change beyond any single election cycle or issue campaign.
