CDT co-founds California Civic Participation Funders with Mary Manuel of the Rob McKay Foundation, Andy Wong of PowerPac, and Cathy Cha of Haas Jr. Fund. Three of the four co- founders work for CDT founders. The first-of-its kind multi-entity funding effort solidifies CDT’s approach of aligning resources to strengthen political and governing power for the majority of the state’s population: Black, Latinx, Asian American Pacific Islander, and Indigenous people.
