The recall of CA Governor Gavin Newsom is very likely to be on the ballot in 2021, making it the biggest of three gubernatorial elections in this off year (VA & NJ). If the recall is successful Californians will suffer, and it will create national headwinds against Democrats trying to govern progressively this year. It would also give the right wing momentum towards the very important 2022 congressional midterms.
California Donor Table and our partners are raising funds to fight the recall by continuing to build power in communities of color most at risk.
Who is funding the recall? SPOILER: Conservative fundraising arms. Big tech venture capitalists. Real estate investors. And a whole lot of Republican donors.
